🔄 #temples The construction of #MonteAlban began around 500AD, yet with different perspectives. Rumor has it that the temple cements, still holding strong today were covered in Gems. The buildings colorfully painted too. Both giving decoration and what they understood to be natural protection from the energies of the area. The city was advanced, various stadiums, temples, observatories, political buildings and what must have been one of the first forms of University. These places of education took chosen members of society and pulled them through an advanced regimen, concerning all knowledge. The plants, the grounds and the cosmos. All so that they could share this knowledge with others and progress society.  Although the conquistadors appear to be the final end of these civilizations, official history suggests other problems too. Despite the achievements at Monte Alban and similar sites, internal conflict and struggles may have been common too.  Much of Monte Alban still lays buried beneath the ground and unknown.
